Will a wood chipper chop straw?
There are other ways to make chopped straws. There are clay plasters and earthen floors that use chopped straw as an ingredient. If you don’t have a leaf mulcher or wood chipper, you can use a lawn mower with a bag attachment to chop the straw for plaster. There is a way to do it.
